The school’s curriculum is outlined by courses in the Curriculum Handbook which provides detailed information on the options available, pathways and qualifications.
At Years 9 and 10, choice is limited as the core curriculum requirements of English, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health, Technology and the Arts (Music, Dance, Drama) all take time. The available choices widen and diversify as students move through the Levels.
Glenfield College takes particular care to ensure that sound advice is provided to students and parents/guardians to assist with the selection of the best course of study. We are particular in checking student’s courses so that each individual is appropriately placed, with clear pathways that allow them to fulfil their potential.
